Santa Barbara SC/CCA is excited to announce our Summer Soccer Camps for membership. The camp is designed to benefit players of all age groups in our Competitive club programs. The curriculum provides an opportunity to improve individual ball control, skills, and knowledge of the game from the beginner club athlete to the advanced player who is passionate about taking his/her game to the next level. Our innovative curriculum and passionate coaching staff create the perfect environment for player development. Our camps are offered during winter break, spring break, and summer.

The Summer Soccer Camp Series are hosted by Santa Barbara SC/CCA and our accomplished staff at Girsh Park in the most beautiful town in the United States, Goleta, CA. The Holiday Soccer Camp Series is open to all participants as an introduction to the forging ground that encompasses the technical, tactical, mental and physical aspects of the game of soccer.
The camp program will place campers appropriately within their correct abilities levels and groups to have the greatest success and correct challenge. The learning environment will assist players in forming the character traits that will serve children for the rest of their lives.
Enrollment is open to any 7 to 17 year-old boy and girl players. Goalkeepers will be incorporated with field players for each session but will have the opportunity to play in goal whenever small side games and scrimmages are incorporated into the curriculum (no individual goalkeeper sessions).
Philosophy.
The camp provides the ideal developmental atmosphere for the next generation of aspiring soccer player with ambitions to learn and enjoy the game. The program will:
- Teach players of all ability levels how to develop an appetite for self-improvement and training.
- Teach individual essential character traits and values. Every camper will have a daily honesty, leadership and teamwork lesson plans incorporated into activities and games.
- Prepare players with technically and tactically understanding for their desired level of play.

Santa Barbara SC/CCA is committed to developing the individual person and player within the organization to their full potential. First and foremost to creating a positive environment for development through instilling excellence in each individual person while providing the platform for aspiring players to play at the next level; high school, college, national team, college and professional teams.
Players & Parents.
Membership is expected to be loyal and adhere to and aspire to develop as a person and player in all facets of the club. Our membership actions must strive towards the learning and nurturing of our core values as the foundation for life. Throughout the club experience players will continually improve as a person and player while holding themselves to high expectations as they learn to develop into future leaders on and off the playing field.
Goals.
We are here first and foremost to develop quality people. Through soccer we look to develop quality players through a well-organized and developed individual development plan adhering to systems, styles and methods of play. The club will create a culture for learning for all facets (players, parents and coaches) that everyone in the community can take pride in. All of our thought processes from the Director of Coaching all the way down to the individual player themselves will keep the individual player in mind with ALL decision making.

The campers at Summer Soccer Camp Series will have access to and learn from Santa Barbara SC Camp Director and certified and accredited coach, Tommy Gray. Additional staffing will be comprised of Santa Barbara SC staff, local college stars, and complemented by area High School Santa Barbara SC junior coaches.
Campers will enjoy no greater than approximately a 1 to 10-12 staff to camper to staff ratio throughout the week.

Jersey. The cost of the official Santa Barbara SC ‘SB Soccer Kids’ jersey is included in all costs.
Payments. All players must register and pay online (in full) prior to the start of the league. Rates do not include a 3% Credit Card processing fee for online payments.
Refund Policy or Cancellations. If you must cancel, please do so as early as possible. All payments are final and non-refundable unless Santa Barbara SC cancels the day camp. Credit towards any future camps, clinics and leagues are applicable, Must be within the same calendar year (2023).

When is Check-in/Check-out?
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to camp start time and end time.

What should I wear to camp?
- Campers will receive a SBSC Camp shirt at check-in and it should be worn every day of camp.
- Campers should also wear comfortable athletic shorts, soccer socks, shinguards, and athletic shoes/soccer cleats.
- NOTE: Campers will receive the shirt size that is submitted on their registration form. NO exchanges for a different size.
Can I request to be in the same group as my friend?
- Simply fill in the friend request section on the registration form with the names of players you’d like to be grouped with.
- If the friends are the same birth year (or very close in age) this is typically not a problem.
- We cannot guarantee all requests but always try our best to accommodate.
Can recreation level players sign up?
- Our Thanksgiving and Winter Striker & Goalkeeper Camps are reserved for SBSC competitive club players only.
