When do we order a uniform?

Before any uniform can be ordered you need to confirm your uniform number with your team manager.

Uniform ordering for all new players who were selected into already established teams can order uniforms effective immediately since your teams are current participating in spring leagues/gaming circuits.

How do we order uniforms?

For all Santa Barbara SC Boys and Girls teams, visit our team store on soccer.com.  You’ll be prompted to enter in your player’s info to access their player portal. 

Please be sure you understand which uniform kit you need to order. All uniform kits are customized with your player’s jersey number and are not eligible for return or exchange.

Please take the time to label your player’s uniform kit (jerseys, jacket, and backpack) with your name and phone number. When items are left behind we will attempt to contact you to let you know, but we can only do that if your items are labeled.

How do we choose a jersey number?

New & Returning Players: Returning players can find their jersey number by viewing their player profile in PlayMetrics. New players joining established teams should inquire with their team manager. Please have three different number preferences ready so managers have a few options when verifying availability.

If you are on a newly formed team that does not yet have a manager, or you are unable to determine your previously approved jersey number, please email club Registrar, Laura, at laura@santabarbarasc.org.  We attempt to keep uniform numbers different within the entire age group in order to allow for player movement.  Once again, DO NOT order your kit until your manager confirms your jersey number.

What items do I need to order?

Every NEW player must order the Mandatory Game Uniform package AND the required training gear.  The mandatory uniform package includes Home & Away jerseys, 1 game short, 2 game socks and a training jacket. The training package is also required for new members, and includes a training top, short, and sock. You can also order additional training tops, shorts, and socks a la carte, as all teams train multiple nights per week.

Can backpacks be customized?

You can only place a jersey # on your backpack (not a name).

How do I know my child’s size for ordering?

If you are unsure what size to order, please have your child go and try on uniforms at a local shop to confirm.

If your player is between sizes, please size UP.

NOTE: Santa Barbara SC uniforms and training gear are custom garments.  Once ordered, they are NOT refundable.  Please ensure that you order the proper size and jersey number.  The Club is NOT responsible for sizing and jersey number issues.

Why aren’t youth sizes available for women’s items?

All girls birth year 2011 and OLDER are suggested to purchase the “Women’s” Size uniform and training gear.  We offer Women’s sizes starting at Adult X-Small (equivalent to a youth Large).

Why does it take so long to receive my uniform order?

Every uniform item with a logo, number or name is customized after your order is submitted. Depending on the time of year, it can take approximately four to six weeks for team items to be customized before they’re available to ship.

Why are other members of my team receiving their orders before me?

We work very hard to ship team uniform orders as quickly as possible. Different products may have different customization times and that can affect ship dates. Orders for the same products that are placed on the same day generally ship out at the same time. Some sizes may already be in stock and thus able to ship more quickly.

How long will these uniforms be used?

These uniforms will last for two years. The current kits will be used until approximately June of 2026. If your player is between sizes and still growing, we recommend sizing up.

Can we still use training jackets and training pants from the old kit?

All players can wear the old style for both games and training since training pants are not a mandatory purchase.

Can I order practice gear at any time?

Yes, all players must wear practice gear. All new and returning players may order practice gear as needed.

I have two children in the club but on different teams, do I have to place two orders?

No, you can go to the player-ordering page for the first player, add all required items to the cart, and then use the dropdown menu at the top of the page to search for the player page of the second player. Then you can add the required items of the second player and check out normally.
