10:45- 11:30am Dribbling activities & group games (Example- Dribbling 1v1’s & 2v2’s)
11:30 – 12:00 pm Lunch
12:00- 12:15pm Free Play games
12:15- 12:50pm Game of the day & Small-sided games (scrimmage).
12:50- 1:00pm Review & Check-out half day
Full Day.
1:00-1:30pm Ball manipulation/ juggling/ challenges
1:30-2:00pm Goals Galore (Shooting & Finishing)
2:00-2:15pm Snack Break
2:15-2:50pm Game of the day & Small-sided games (scrimmage).
2:50- 3:00pm Review & Check-out full day.
The Summer Day Camps are hosted by Santa Barbara SC and our accomplished staff at Girsh Park in the most beautiful town in the United States, Goleta, CA. Open to all participants as an introduction to the forging ground that encompasses the technical, tactical, mental and physical aspects of the game of soccer.
The camp program will place campers appropriately within their correct abilities levels and groups to have the greatest success and correct challenge. The learning environment will assist players in forming the character traits that will serve children for the rest of their lives.
Enrollment is open to any 5 to 12 year-old boy and girl players. Goalkeepers will be incorporated with field players for each session but will have the opportunity to play in goal whenever small side games and scrimmages are incorporated into the curriculum (no individual goalkeeper sessions).
Philosophy.
The camp provides the ideal developmental atmosphere for the next generation of aspiring soccer player with ambitions to learn and enjoy the game. The program will:
- Teach players of all ability levels how to develop an appetite for self-improvement and training.
- Teach individual essential character traits and values. Every camper will have a daily honesty, leadership and teamwork lesson plans incorporated into activities and games.
- Prepare players with technically and tactically understanding for their desired level of play.

The campers at Summer Soccer Day Camp Series will have access to and learn from Santa Barbara SC Camp Director and certified and accredited coach, Brian Hessinger. Additional staffing will be comprised of Santa Barbara SC staff, local college stars, and complemented by area High School Santa Barbara SC junior coaches.

Jersey. The cost of the official Santa Barbara SC ‘SB Soccer Kids’ jersey is included in all costs.
Payments. All players must register and pay online (in full) prior to the start of the league. Rates do not include a 3% Credit Card processing fee for online payments.

Santa Barbara Soccer Club day camps are an excellent alternative skill development opportunity for all ages and ability levels that can enhance your child’s game outside of our recreation and competitive club-wide curriculum.
FAQs
What does my camper need to bring?
- Soccer shoes

When is Check-in/Check-out?
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to camp start time and end time.
- NOTE: Fridays are always half-day! (9:00-1:00pm)
What should I wear to camp?
- All campers should wear comfortable athletic shorts, soccer socks, shinguards, and athletic shoes/soccer cleats.
- Campers who pre-registered will receive a SBSC Camp shirt at check-in and it should be worn every day of camp.
- NOTE: Campers will receive the shirt size that is submitted on their registration form. NO exchanges for a different size.
Can I request to be in the same group as my friend?
- Simply fill in the friend request section on the registration form with the names of players you’d like to be grouped with.
- If the friends are the same birth year (or very close in age) this is typically not a problem.
- We cannot guarantee all requests but always try our best to accommodate.
Can club level players sign up?
- Yes, camps are open both recreation and competitive club level players.
