About
The Santa Barbara SC MLS Elite Youth Development Platform Academy teams provides the most talented soccer players on the Central Coast of California with a clear pathway to reach the highest levels of professional and collegiate competition in the sport of Soccer. Our Academy currently fields teams at the U13 (2008) and U14 (2007) age groups which compete in the MLS Elite Youth Development Platform League.
Through a holistic approach to player development, The Santa Barbara SC Academy Staff are committed to developing each and every player and person to their maximum potential. Santa Barbara SC has helped develop and produce talented, hard-working and committed players that have gone on to play for the Elite NCAA Division 1 Programs, MLS Professional Teams and represented our country at the US Youth National Teams levels.
Major League Soccer announced Santa Barbara SC as a founding member of a new Elite Youth Development Platform intended to provide year-round high-level matches for MLS club academy teams and non-MLS academy (Santa Barbara SC) teams. We will achieve high standards for elite youth players on the Central coast to allow athletes to achieve their full potential.
