Santa Barbara Soccer Club is pleased to offer a College Identification Camp for its members. The camp is an opportunity for SBSC players who are interested in playing in college to be evaluated by current college coaches. Participating universities will comprise all levels of college soccer from Division I to Junior College. Participation is open to all players entering High School this Fall. In addition to being evaluated, the camp is also an opportunity to learn about the overall recruiting process and to speak directly to current coaches about other programs that may be of interest. The SBSC ID Camp is part of our ongoing commitment as a club to help our players take the next step in their playing career. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!

Saturday & Sunday Afternoon & Evening training sessions on both days (four total sessions).Note: Exact times to be released at a further date.
The curriculum is designed for players to be led by college coaches in a training, small sided and full field game environments. An emphasis will be placed on technical functional training, positional play and group team training.
The college ID camp is the perfect environment for players to be identified and developed by the elite college coaches on the west coast. This is accomplished through the implementation of high level instruction and play within small-sided and 11v11 games.

What does my camper need to bring?

When is Check-in/Check-out?
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to camp start time and end time.
- NOTE: Fridays are always half-day! (9:00-1:00pm)
What should I wear to camp?
- Campers will receive a SBSC Summer Camp shirt at check-in and it should be worn every day of camp.
- Campers should also wear comfortable athletic shorts, soccer socks, shinguards, and athletic shoes/soccer cleats.
- NOTE: Campers will receive the shirt size that is submitted on their registration form. NO exchanges for a different size.
Can I request to be in the same group as my friend?
- Simply fill in the friend request section on the registration form with the names of players you’d like to be grouped with.
- If the friends are the same birth year (or very close in age) this is typically not a problem.
- We cannot guarantee all requests but always try our best to accommodate.
Can recreation level players sign up?
- Week 5 (August 7-11) of summer camp is reserved for SBSC competitive club players only.
- Recreation players are invited to join us for Weeks 1-4 of summer camp. You can learn more HERE.
