October 12, 2025 – The Santa Barbara Soccer Club 13U girls squad captured the Girls Academy Aspire West Regional championship last week.  With the victory, the team punched its ticket to the Girls Nationals Tournament in June.

“The trajectory of the talent we are seeing in our girls program here at SBSC is immense,” Santa Barbara Soccer Club board president Sheralyn Baltes said. “For this team to capture the west regionals in their first year in the GA ASPIRE league is a testament to the level of talent, commitment, and development we are seeing in our girls program at SBSC.

“It’s remarkable – and a glimpse of what’s ahead for girls wanting to play soccer at the highest level on the central coast.”

The team consists of Hayden Anderson, Grace Callanan, Aubrey Chenoweth, Banksia Cunningham, Alexandria Dahl, Mia Forkalsrud, Mia Greene, Hennessy Hernandez, Selma Jenkins, Victoria Juarez, Mila Kjensrud, Austyn Martinez, Alexa Ofner, Camilla Oh, Gabriella Oh and Isla Ramirez.
